Serving Mason, Holt, Okemos, East Lansing and other Lansing-area communities with private in-home dog and puppy training

Your puppy bounces on guests like they’ve just found their new best friend or barks at you the second you've sit down.
They’ve turned your shoes, furniture, clothes, and your hands into chew toys.
On walks, there’s no in-between—your puppy either flops like a pancake or zooms after every person, dog, squirrel, and leaf in sight.
You’ve watched the videos, bought the treats, maybe even tried a class, but your dog is still running the show.
You just want to relax, welcome visitors, and enjoy everyday life with your dog.
You’re not alone; you're just raising a puppy— and there’s a better way forward.
The first 3 to 16 weeks of your puppy’s development are crucial in shaping their future behavior.
Our comprehensive, rewards-based programs are designed for puppies and adolescents (8 weeks to 2 years of age). It focuses on confidence-building, impulse control, and self-regulation, helping to prevent fear, reactivity, and aggression later in life.
Socialization goes beyond simply meeting new people and dogs—it’s about creating positive experiences that teach your puppy to navigate the world with resilience and choice. With the right foundation, your puppy will grow into a secure, self-regulated companion, ready to take on life each day with confidence—knowing you’re always in their corner as their dedicated guardian.

Mandy was so great to work with!
"We are first-time puppy parents and had no clue where to start with Max's training, but knew we wanted to stick with reward-based, force-free training. On top of general obedience skills, reactivity prevention training, as well as potty training. Everyone always comments on how well behaved Max is, and we have Raise The Woof to thank!"
- Courtney I.

I had a wonderful experience with Mandy as my dog trainer.
"She was so encouraging, insightful and outgoing. I was able to teach my dog many new tricks, connect with my dog, and my dog had the time of his life all due to Mandy's support and skills. Thank you so much Mandy!"
- Andrea P.

Mandy has done a great job training me how to train my dog!
"My dog loves the training but it is me who needs most of the work! Very kind and energetic which helps motivate us both! Thanks so much!"
- Mark C.
