Mandy is a certified Family Dog Mediator® (FDM) and CATCH Canine Trainer’s Academy graduate, specializing in positive reinforcement training for dogs and puppies in the Greater Lansing area. With expertise in life skills, leash walking, recall, jumping, excessive barking, sound phobias, and reactivity, Mandy helps dog guardians understand the root causes of their dog's "undesirable behaviors" and transform them into positive behaviors—all while honoring dogs for simply just being themselves.

Mandy is also a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild, an organization dedicated to science-driven and force-free training. For fun, Mandy enjoys tricks training and going after titles with her soul dog, Riese.

Meet Riese!

Riese, the outgoing and expressive Bernese Mountain Dog, was the spark that ignited Mandy's professional dog training career.

As a "big feelings" girl, Riese began her reactivity training in adulthood, inspiring Mandy to become a dog trainer so she could help everyday dog parents find relief from their dogs' fear and over arousal behaviors—while meeting their dogs exactly where they are.

Today, Riese excels at tricks training and holds titles with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Do More With Your Dog®. She’s a beloved companion and a living example of the transformative power of positive reinforcement training.
