Mandy Robbins, FDM, CTDI

Mandy is a certified Family Dog Mediator® (FDM), Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), and CATCH Canine Trainer’s Academy graduate, specializing in positive reinforcement, games-based training for dogs and puppies in the Greater Lansing area.

With expertise in life skills, leash walking, excessive jumping and barking, fear and reactivity, Mandy helps dog guardians understand the root causes of their dog's "undesirable behaviors" and transform them into positive behaviors—all while honoring dogs for simply just being themselves.

Mandy is also a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild, an organization dedicated to science-driven and force-free training. For fun, Mandy enjoys tricks training and going after titles with her soul dog, Riese.

Meet Riese!

Riese, the outgoing and expressive Bernese Mountain Dog, was the spark that ignited Mandy's professional dog training career.

As a "big feelings" girl, Riese began her reactivity training in adulthood, inspiring Mandy to become a dog trainer so she could help everyday dog parents find relief from their dogs' fear and over arousal behaviors—while meeting their dogs exactly where they are.

Today, Riese excels at tricks training and holds titles with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Do More With Your Dog®. She’s a beloved companion and a living example of the transformative power of positive reinforcement training.

From excessive barking and jumping to the unfocused, chaotic dog, guardianship can be challenging — but it becomes a truly incredible experience when you’re growing alongside your soul dog, the companion you were always meant to be with.

My mission is to help you build a strong, joyful connection with your puppy through game-based, force-free training. Together we'll make learning fun, effective, and stress-free for both ends of the leash.
